About Us
Hi there, my name is Wendy Carey and I run Small Wonders Learning Center out of my home in Wethersfield, Connecticut. I have many years of experience in the early childhood education field from both working in a childcare setting and in raising my own two children.
Before opening Small Wonders in May 2009, I worked in the childcare field at various centers for 8 years. My experience is with children 6 weeks to 10 years, and I have been employed as both a Head Teacher and an Assistant Director in previous centers.
Education is very important to me. I received my Bachelor's Degree in English from Keene State University in New Hampshire and my Head Teacher Certificate from the State of Connecticut. I will use my education and experience to ensure a full curriculum of math, science, art, and sensory activities for all children in my care.
